Brian Gilman

FOUNDER, COB, CEO OF EVOLVE HYDROGEN INC, INVENTOR OF EVOLVE™ • EHS VP OF ELECTROLYZER DIVISION, BOARD MEMBER

Founder, COB, and CEO of EHI since 2020, Gilman Industries LLC., since 2011, CEO and Board Chairman of Evolve Hydrogen Inc., and VP of Electrolyzer Division & Board Member of E1H2. Brian invented Evolve™ to revolutionize the hydrogen industry.

He wrote the application for patent No. US9476133
(with 81 novel claims), created 59 patent drawings, assembled a team of technical and business advisors,
and forged public and business relations with potential customers. He created the advisory committees and
assembled the boards of his companies.

Brian was formerly a Creative Director of several award-winning advertising and multimedia firms for over 20 years helping his clients close numerous billion-dollar accounts.

Spencer Teplin

CO-FOUNDER OF EVOLVE HYDROGEN, INC. • EHS PRESIDENT AND BOARD CHAIRMAN

Spencer Teplin, President & Chairperson of the Board of Directors of EHS, Co-Founder of EHI (Evolve Hydrogen Inc), manages EHI’s daily operations.

Formerly the Scientific Facility Manager at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory for over 25 years, his experience translated well EHI. Spencer’s duties at EHI Inc include creating content for promotional materials and business documents, EHI’s offshore wind marketplace expert, coordinating research activities and funding, accounting, and HR practices.

Siv Almaas​

HYDROGEN STANDARDS ADVISOR

Siv is the Development Engineer at Falcon Foodservice Equipment, and founder of Almaas Technologies Ltd (Glasgow, UK), a consultancy specializing in hydrogen gas appliance development. 

Wider work activities cover gas quality impacts on appliance performance, and European appliance standards development including hydrogen appliance guidance PAS 4444, ISO standards development for hydrogen technologies. 

Naoufel Menadi​​

POLYMER & INDUSTRIAL STRATEGIST

Naoufel has 30 years of experience leading businesses with strategic thinking in various engineering and manufacturing B2B plastics industry sectors, including hands-on experience in plastics materials, tooling, injection process, automation, coating and assembly.

His experience with polymers and injection molding is vital to our development of a commercial product, and to future innovations.

Charlie Ward​​

VP OF OUTREACH AND PROGRAM MANAGEMENT FOR EVOLVE HYDROGEN, INC • EHS TREASURER AND BOARD MEMBER

Charlie has over 30 years leading energy system projects and has served in key roles with Con Edison NY, CA Technologies, FatWire (now Oracle) and PowerServ US.

He is a member of the IEEE Power and Energy Society and a PMI-certified project manager. He is an accomplished musician, composer, and producer, and is both a futurist and an optimist.

Dr. Katsuhiko Hirose​​

HYDROGEN EXPERT ADVISOR​​

Dr. Hirose is a hydrogen expert with 39 years’ experience on the front line of development for hybrid and fuel cell system engines.

As a former Professional Partner of Toyota Motor Corporation, Dr. Hirose was an integral part of the team that created the Prius and the Mirai.

He is a visiting Professor at the International Institute for Carbon Neutral Energy Research in Kyushu University, Japan.

Christopher Jackson

CHIEF TECHNOLOGY STRATEGIST

With a long history of both strategy development and tactical delivery, Chris provides experience in: M&A due diligence, technology road mapping and contract, program, project, safety & systems engineering management.

Chris is a Project Management Professional (PMP), a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Energy Institute, he holds a PhD in Fuel Cell Optimization from Newcastle University and an Executive MBA and Degree in Chemical & Process Engineering from Loughborough University.

Harry Gottshall​

Chief Electronics Advisor​

Harry is also the owner of Gottshall Instrument Service, Poughkeepsie, NY since 1992, and was previously a Senior Engineering Manager at IBM’s Development Laboratory in Poughkeepsie, NY. Harry has 4 issued patents and 13 published concepts, developed for and owned by IBM. He has a FCC first class license for Commercial Radiotelephone with Radar endorsement NLA and an Extra Class Amateur Radio W2ZA.

He has a MSEE from IBMIT and Lincoln Labs, an AAS from USAFI, and is a Decorated Combat Veteran (US Expeditionary Force Quemoy & Matsu Islands).

Michele Gilman​

VP of Communications for Evolve Hydrogen, Dir. of Marketing & PR for EHS

A a member of Women In Green Hydrogen, Michele honed her wide range of abilities at School of Visual Arts in NY, and School of Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, MA, earning her BFA from Tufts University. After developing award-winning interactive learning programs for New York Energy companies, and cutting edge websites for clients including ABCTV, she taught web development at Hendriks Institute and Baruch College in New York.

Expanding her reach into Point of Sale, she developed customer-centric branding and copywriting for Trader Joe’s stores throughout the northeast. Her ability to forecast trends and see the big picture, while keeping an obsessive eye on detail, guides the brands of Evolve Hydrogen and Evolve Hydrogen Solutions (EHS).

Maggie Hanna​

Director of Canadian Endeavors​

Maggie is a Fellow at Energy Futures Lab, Associate at CESAR (Canadian Energy Systems Analysis Research, and is VP of Innovation and Technology for two cleantech startups.

She contributes valuable expertise as a presenter on Energy/Innovation topics, and passion for Energy Literacy to accelerate adoption rates of new solutions for the energy transition.

For more than two decades, Cliff has served on numerous boards from Tech start-ups to Philanthropic causes. He holds a “Masters Professional Director” certification from the American College of Corporate Directors and currently serves on the boards of Advanced Facialdontics and Evolve Hydrogen.

Cliff is also an active Board Advisor for SELF Labs / Mirror Image One, Science Of Human Optimization, Inc. and several accelerator program participants with Bolster, Newchip and Hyper Accelerator. As a private investor, Cliff is an investor with AngelFire Capital Management.

Tom has always been inspired by innovation, especially in alternative energy technology. He is CEO of Polarworks, a software simulation platform, and has a professional background in naval architecture and aerospace composite development.

With a BSME, MSME and MBA in Finance, Thomas further strengthens the analytical and forward-thinking capacities that will position Evolve Hydrogen as a strong player in the alternative energy market.

Geoff Herald​

Fire Safety and Building Compliance Advisor​

A former Fire Chief for the city of Danbury, Connecticut, Geoff has a Master’s Degree in Safety Security and Emergency Management from Eastern Kentucky University. Geoff brings us his skills consulting for Code and OSHA compliance, advising for disaster recovery operations and response planning, and emergency response training.

Brian Gilman is the Founder & CEO who designed and developed Evolve™ to revolutionize the hydrogen industry.

He wrote patent US9476133, created 59 patent drawings, assembled the team, and forged public relations with potential customers.

Brian was raised in a family of engineers, and his creative career path never strayed far from the precision work of his roots. His inspired leap and talents in design enabled him to take his vision of Evolve™ and make it reality.

Brian has always had a passion for cleaner fuel sources, and in 2011 he decided to make one of his envisioned designs come to life. He designed the Evolve™ device to create high volumes of hydrogen for fuel cells and combustion engines. His extensive research into electro-conductive materials led him to draft the design based on his findings.
